Tom Rickert writes: We invite you to visit our new guide: Bridging the Gap: Your role in transporting children with disabilities to school in developing countries.

This guide is posted on the home page of our website at www.globalride-sf.org.  Versions in Spanish and Hindi are in preparation and will appear in coming months.

Please see our Newsletter: “Accessible Transportation Around the World.”

Request for help: Our next newsletter — “Accessible Transportation Around the World" –– is coming right up.  We seek news items and photos concerning universal access to vehicular and pedestrian modes of transportation, especially as this applies to vulnerable groups including seniors and persons with disabilities.  Our interest includes transport modes that enhance the ability of children with disabilities to ride or walk to school.

As noted in our newsletter, we lack sufficient funds to properly follow up our guide to promote policies and implementation to improve school transport.  Your help is needed and we invite donations through PayPal at the “Donate to AEI” section of our website.

With all best wishes,

Tom
