Dysphagia resources

Including a dysphagia risk assessment and guide

Dr Darren D. Chadwick writes:

"I have been pulling together the dysphagia related resources I have been involved in over the years into a single page repository so they are more easily accessible by practitioners and carers and any others who may find them useful.

"Also included is the dysphagia risk assessment and risk guide myself and Jane Jolliffe developed for the National Patient Safety Agency which I understand is no longer available to download from the Government website.

"You can find all of the resources here...

"The link to the page can also be found on my University research page as well here...

"There is a very short survey that asks for a bit of background information from those downloading the resources (where they are from, whether they work with or support or have dysphagia etc.). It also asks about how and whether these resources have been useful if people have come across them before. The survey should take no more than 5 minutes to fill in. You can also download the resources without filling in the survey by simply skipping to the end."
