Report: From Words to Actions - shedding light on the S.H.I.F.T. towards meaningful inclusion in Europe

The S.H.I.F.T. report presents examples of how to contribute to the equality and inclusion of persons with disabilities and their families

Support: means to help someone who needs help
Human Rights: means that all people are free and equal throughout their lives.
Independence: means that the person does things alone. And also when they decide alone.
Families: means that the families of people with disabilities may have needs, questions.
Transition: means when life or society change

From COFACE: With our Disability Rights Strategy we want precisely to support the policy and legislative developments that are needed so that persons with disabilities and their families can fully and equally participate in all areas of life, focusing on key dimensions of choice, participation and equality, encompassing: accessibility;
independent living, community and family-based services; inclusive education; access to quality jobs; and adequate social protection.
